Bunny Tails

I cut out a bunny shape and helped the kids make an Easter Bunny Card.

On the back, the bunny had a tail.

I also went over "Following Directions".

I made it silly by asking them:
'Is sitting on your chair upside down following directions?'
'Is putting crayons in your nose following directions?'

But then I had much more practical questions:
'When Aunt Tami tells you to clean up, do you clean up?"
Kids reply "YES!"
I said "That is following directions."
I continued with other examples.

Then I gave them all a necklace award for "Following Directions".

Easter Chicks and Flowers

I can't believe I didn't post these pictures earlier.
We made an Easter flowers out of a toilet paper tube, easter grass and tissue paper.

Next we made Peeps.
Then we decorated foam Easter eggs.

Flower Garden

I am very proud of the kids who attend Aunt Tami's House.
We did a worksheet about letter recognition.
Keep in mind that these two kids are only 2 1/2 years old, but very smart!

Later that day we created our own Flower Garden.
We used foam flower shapes, a cut out of a watering can and blue paint for the rain drops.

I had the kids use the tip of a paint brush and tap their picture to make rain.

Water Play

There was a day that was ungodly hot!  It was close to 90 degrees and it's only April!
I put together a water table that I had bought for this upcoming summer.
The kids had such a great time!

Under the Sea

The kids were excited to play Foam Sea Creatures.

After the kids placed the stickers onto the paper, I used cellophane wrap to make it look like the creatures were under water.

My son has a pet turtle that I brought down for the kids to see.
They giggled when they saw how fast a turtle can really be.

Forsythia Bush

First step is to glue brown construction paper, which represents the dirt, on the bottom of the page.
Next, draw lines representing the branches.

Show the children how to twist rectangle shapes of yellow tissue paper.

Glue them onto the branches.
You made a Forsythia Bush!

Wiggle Worm

We made worms and did a wiggle song.  The kids pretended they ate worms for lunch.  We went outside to dug up worms in the garden.
